One dog in the salon at a time.
Book a groomThe room is what ruins a groom.
I take one booking at a time, so the room your dog walks into is empty and stays that way until they leave.
Dogs that got sent home half done, or turned away for being difficult, are half my week. They are not difficult in here.
The button opens my calendar, and the hour you pick is yours as soon as it shows there. Bec is on 03 0000 0010.
A table, a bath, and space for one.

A puppy's first visit
Under six months. A short bath, a listen to the clippers, and a lot of stopping. Twenty to forty minutes.
A matted coat takes longer and costs more. You hear the new number while your dog is still on the lead, not later. Card, cash or bank transfer.
The two hours your dog is here
- Ring or book online, and tell me the breed and how the coat is going.
- Nervous dogs get a ten minute hello first, on a day when nothing else happens to them. No clippers.
- On the day, come at the time booked. There is no drop-off window, because there is no queue.
- I text you when we are done, usually two to three hours later, and I ring straight away if anything changes.
One dog is all the room holds
One room up the lane: a table, a bath, a dryer, and a window the dogs watch the buses through. Nothing else fits, which is the point.
I am Bec Talbot. What settled it was a whippet at the Glenorchy vet clinic who would not come out from under a chair; I have run one table only, since 2019.

Pip had been turned away by two salons. She walked back in on her own the second time.
Otto's fourteen. He can't stand up that long any more. She does him in bits and lets him have a sit down.
