What we collect, and why.
It is a short list.
Directive Kits is a brand operated by Directive Systems Pty Ltd, ABN 13 702 309 082, ACN 702 309 082, Perth, Western Australia. This page says what personal information we hold, who else touches it, and how to get it removed. Last revised 28 September 2026.
Browsing this site
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Pages are served by Cloudflare, which sees your request the way any web host does and keeps its own short-lived server logs under Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not see your browsing.
Requesting beta access
When you request free beta access, we store your email address, the kit you selected and when you asked. We use these details to review the request and, if approved, send your access link. No payment details are collected. Email support@directivekits.com if you want us to remove a request.
Buying a kit
Kit purchases use Stripe Managed Payments, with Stripe through Sold through Link, LLC as merchant of record. Stripe collects your card details, billing address and email; we never see the card. Stripe sends us your email address, your country, and what you bought so we can deliver the kit. Stripe's handling of your data is under Stripe's privacy policy.
We keep a record of the purchase, your email address and the licence key we issued, for as long as your purchase is valid and for seven years after for tax records, because Australian law requires it.
Your customer library account
Sign-in is handled by Clerk, which holds your email address and the sign-in method you chose. Clerk's handling is under Clerk's privacy policy. We hold the link between your email address and what you own, and a log of downloads from your library: what was downloaded, when, and from which country, kept for twelve months so we can spot shared accounts and answer "did my download work".
Emailing us
If you email support or hello@, we keep the email for as long as it is useful to answer you, and then for up to two years so we can see what has gone wrong before. Support emails are read by people and, sometimes, summarised by an AI assistant to help us answer faster. They are not used to train anything.
What we never hold
Your website, your business brief, your photographs and your GitHub and Cloudflare accounts. The kit runs on your computer and publishes from your own accounts. Nothing from it is sent to us, and we could not see it if we wanted to.
Where data lives
Our own records are in Cloudflare's D1 and R2 services, which store data in data centres around the world. Stripe and Clerk are United States companies. By buying a kit you accept that your email address and purchase record are handled by them under their policies.
Getting it, fixing it, deleting it
Email support@directivekits.com from the address you bought with, and we will send you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. Deleting your account ends your access to the library; it does not affect anything you have already downloaded, and it does not delete the tax record of the purchase, which we are required to keep.
Complaints
Tell us first and we will try to fix it. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
